Cool Days End, from Asbury Park, NJ, has just released Streets, Dreams and Everything in Between on Kace Records, an album of classic rock'n'roll inspired by Jersey legend Bruce Springsteen as well as country greats Hank Williams and Merle Haggard.
The band consists of veterans of the NJ Shore area music scene, and plays a classic country/rock hybrid that'll be refreshingly familiar to Springsteen fans. One of the tracks on their new release, Believe Me , even features Soozie Tyrell of the E Street Band and the Seeger Sessions Band on violin.
Cool Days End has also performed with Cheap Trick, The Marshall Tucker Band, Foghat, Leslie West and Mountain, Little Feat, The Outlaws and Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes.
Recently they won the "Battle for Wingstock," a competition held at the Blueclaws Stadium and sponsored by NJ's 105.7 The Hawk, performing in front of 15,000 music fans as the opening act for Paul Rodgers of Bad Company.
The band's currently in the studio working on a follow-up, and after getting their music out to a number of radio stations gearing up for a European tour, "right across the ocean from Asbury Park."
